The Card Holder!

I found this little wooden book at Michaels in Mesa. And all the little "thank you" cards, "love you" cards...etc. cards. The cards were only $1.00 and the book was about $4.
The letter (which of course you would get whatever one you wanted) was $3. And the ribbon i already had at my home from my Tree Topiary.
I thought this was a cute idea, a place to put "emergency" cards when you don't have time to run to the store!
I have used these a few times. :) haha. But they are all so cute. Just thought i would give this little idea out! Maybe useful?

Tree Topiary.

Here is the tree topiary by itself.

What you need: little bucket (Wal-Mart)
some fake moss or grass. (Wal-Mart)
wired ribbon, all sorts of textures and colors and patterns (Wal-Mart)
buttons if you want to use them. (Wal-Mart)
a wooden rod, which is in the sewing section at Wal-Mart.
Paint, color of your choice.
And a little styrofoam ball.
A friend who wants to craft with you! :)
Thanks to: Kendyl who introduced me to these Topiarys! You are awesome!

First Post

This is just one of many projects. I saw that quote in the LDS Book Barn. And I ordered my Vinyl lettering from "ShesGotItAll" (it is just the cutest website ever!)

And i made the Topiary tree a while ago, but i just thought that the tree went so well with this plaque.

The most expensive part of these two projects are the ribbon and the vinyl (and even that was not that expensive) these are CHEAP and easy projects to make the home even more cute! :)
